If the Service allows you to submit information such as preferences, reflections, or other content, you retain ownership of your content.
You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, display, and use that content only as necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service for you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any content you submit.
We may remove content that violates these Terms, the law, or the safety and integrity of the Service.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its branding, software, designs, compiled content, audio assets, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or our intellectual property.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service unless we expressly allow it or the law requires otherwise.
Scripture quotations and translations may remain subject to third-party rights where applicable.
11. Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may make changes to improve the Service, reflect feature changes, address security issues, or comply with legal or operational requirements.
12. Account termination and suspension
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you breach these Terms;
- we reasonably believe your use presents legal, security, abuse, or fraud risk;
- we are required to do so by law;
- continued access would harm the Service or other users.
Where appropriate, we may act without prior notice.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss;
- loss of profit, business, opportunity, or goodwill;
- loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control;
- decisions made by you in reliance on devotional or wellbeing content in the Service.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
14. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or connect with third-party services, including app stores, subscription platforms, analytics providers, hosting providers, email providers, and audio providers.
Their services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by updating the date at the top of these Terms.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
18. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at SophiaHub8@outlook.com and we will try to resolve it.
